Recent successful Olympians were often quoted acknowledging the discipline, coaching and teamwork that enabled achievement of their ultimate sporting success. Learning Through Play
Play, in our materialistic, product oriented society where time equals money does not rate highly. In our busy lives we seldom take time for leisure. We project this attitude on our children when we hot house them to perform through structured formal learning activities and give them little time for play.
 
Reading ten minutes a day is all it takes!
There is strong evidence to support the fact that children who are regularly read to in their early years are more likely to be successful readers at school. Reading to children lays important foundations for future learning. Reading helps to build and develop vocabulary and comprehension skills and gives your child an understanding of how language works.
